Every year, SAP hosts its annual conference known as SAP NOW. However, in 2020, due to the pandemic, they had to transition the conference entirely online for the first time. Red Door Agency reached out to me for a unique challenge. I was in charge of the event's art direction, creating a unique design approach while sticking to SAP's main guidelines. I also led a team of designers and 3D artists to craft the 3D scenography projected behind the interviews. Plus, I designed and animated the conference video intro.
Here are some art direction moodboards created during the initial stages of the production. My goal was to integrate a simple yet effective element that would highlight the company's technology and innovation, for example, a playful, glowing sphere navigating through wavy tracks. To emphasize the digital aspect of the brand, I opted to create the visuals in 3D. The client responded positively to this concept, requesting minor modifications to better align with SAP's visual identity.
